Christopher Nolan is putting the band from “Inception” back together for “The Dark Knight Rises.”
The cast already includes Tom Hardy and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Now comes news that actress Marion Cotillard is in talks for a role.
Exactly what that role might be is being kept under wrap. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Cotillard’s role is one of the “secret female roles” for the upcoming Batman sequel.
Cotillard’s involvement was originally reported by French newspaper Le Figaro, which announced that the casting was not only official but the pregnant actress would join the production this summer after her baby is born.
While there’s no mention of which character Cotillard would play in the film, speculation has pointed to Thalia Al Ghul, the daughter of “Batman Begins” villain Ra’s Al Ghul (played by Liam Neeson).
It's really all a big misdirection. The inception team is trying to steal something from Christian Bale's mind by putting him in a dream where he gets to be Batman.
