Remember the trailer for series six of “Doctor Who?”
One of the striking images was the Doctor with a beard (or at least what appeared to be the Doctor).
Actor Matt Smith says that when it came to filming those scenes, he had to use a paste on beard instead of growing one out for the role.
“It was a glued-on beard,” he said. “I wouldn’t be able to grow a full-on beard like that in time.”
Smith added that it was particularly difficult to peel away the faux hair at the end of each day’s shooting schedule.
“They had to remove it with a substance smelling like white turps,” he said.
The Doctor has been seen with a beard before. Fans may recall that the fourth Doctor had one in “The Leisure Hive.” And actor Colin Baker wanted to grow out his beard and be seen on-screen with it before he was sacked from the role.
Gee,,,an actor wore a beard in a TV show??

Don't be lazy, y'all.
You must realize that Hickerson is a Doctor Who addict of the highest order. He might even be able to outdo that one Who fan that showed up on the Graham Norton Show when David Tennant was a guest (after his run was over).
If he could do so without having restraining orders placed on him, he'd be reporting on how long each cast member, producer and writer of Doctor Who and Torchwood spends in the bathroom, and how much series-related work they completed while in there! So I'm good with fake hair news.

It always amazes me when people think something isn't news worthy yet spend more time complaining about it. If it's not news worthy to you, ignore it.
And I would like to point out that I don't report EVERY single filming detail of "Doctor Who" on the site. I found this one interesting and I know a lot of people have been commenting on the scene of the Doctor in a beard on this wacky Internet thing.
So, I posted it here...

You would think people would be more excited about River Song being topless in the trailer.
But then again that just be me.
She's a good actor but she isn't that hot, mainly because she has kind of a baby face which is a little creepy.
