“Captain America: The First Avenger” (or as it will be called in countries not friendly to the U.S. – “The First Avenger”), stars Chris Evans (“Fantastic Four”) as Captain America/Steve Rogers and Hugo Weaving (“LOTR,” “The Matrix”) as The Red Skull/Commander Johann Schmidt. Also appearing in the film are Tommy Lee Jones (“Men In Black,” “Space Cowboys”), Stanley Tucci (“The Lovely Bones,” “Burlesque”), Haley Atwell (“The Prisoner”) and Neal McDonough (“Star Trek: First Contact,” “Minority Report”).
The film is set for theatrical release July 22, 2011.
