Here’s a bit of good news for “Fringe” fans.
The move to the Friday night death-slot hasn’t seen the show take a major hit in the ratings.
In fact, the third-year series has won its time-slot in the demographics Fox wants the last two Fridays. Overall it earned a 1.9/6 rating, with 4.57 million total viewers, leading Fox to a win for the night.
And then you factor in the DVR numbers and the news gets better.
Numbers from the first Fringe Friday outing rose an additional 42 percent, driving the 18-49 rating from a 1.9 to a 2.7.
We’ll have more about future “Fringe” developments on this week’s Slice of SciFi. But for now, keep tuning in! And make sure to convert a friend or five to this show.
Kyle Nin says
Just wait until “Supernatural” comes back. The ratings will surely, unfortunately, fall.
Ben Ragunton says
Nothing pleases me more than to know this show is doing well on Friday. I find this to be one of the most well-rounded science fiction shows on television and it deserves to be successful!
