White Leaves "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies"

The undead Jane Austin movie “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” needs a new director.

Mike White, who has been attached to the project since it was greenlit by Lionsgate has stepped aside.

“I loved the project and looked forward to working with Lionsgate. Unfortunately, the timing could not be worked out. I wish them the best with the movie,” White tells Deadline.

Entertainment Weekly reports that White will instead be working on the upcoming HBO series “Enlightenment”, starring Laura Dern as an executive who tries to turn her life around following a breakdown.

hmmm maybe I am bias, but P&P&Z seems a much more interesting project than his new project.
White you could have cemented your name in the minds of geeks everywhere, but instead you choose to serve up some feel good pap to Joe Average. Well here is the bad news , Joe Average will not care who is serving his TV dinner, you will become another faceless drone and you will slave on alone and unloved in the sitcom wasteland.
