“District 9″ director Neill Blomkamp’s next project “Elysium” has found a studio.
Sony has won the rights to produced the high-profile project that includes the talents of Matt Damon, Jodie Foster and Sharlto Copley.
The project was the subject a fierce bidding war in Hollywood, with Sony reportedly paying $120 million to win the science-fiction film. The studio denies the price tag is that high, however.
Despite reports, Universal is not in talks to co-finance the movie.
