Actor George Clooney will fill the shoes of Robert Downey, Jr. for the upcoming movie "Gravity."

Downey, Jr. dropped out of the project in November. He was originally cast along with Angelina Jolie in the project. Jolie eventually left the project and a wide range of Hollywood actresses were linked to the role which ultimately went to Sandra Bullock.

Universal has found a director for its upcoming "Ouija" movie.

Yes, you read that right...a movie about an "Ouija" board.

The movie, based on the Hasbro game, will be directed by McG, the studio announced Friday.

Director Ron Howard is hard at work on the multi-platform adaptation of Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Howard would serve as director for one of several big-screen installments of the series from a script by Akiva Goldsman. Also included in the adaptation would be several television shows.
