Cross this one off the rumor list.
Actress Demi Lovato will not be part of the upcoming “Avengers” movie. The story broke on-line earlier this week, but it’s now been debunked by the Hollywood Reporter.
The trade magazine did go on to say that Marvel is looking to cast another female in the cast. We already know that Scarlett Johanssen will reprise her role as Black Widow for the film.
Speculation indicates that the female role could be the Wasp. And that she could be played by actress Janet van Dyne.
As of this report, nothing is confirmed. If we hear something definite, we’ll bring you the news right here on Slice of SciFi.
You might want to check your information again. Janet van Dyne was the name of the real idenity of the Wasp.
Does Lovato ever star in anything? Wouldn't it be more accurate to say that there are times when the camera is pointed it her during filming?
I would love to see Olivia Wilde play that part. I think she'd be perfect.
