Actor Liam Neeson will reprise his role as Zeus for the upcoming “Clash of the Titans” sequel, reports Entertainment Weekly.
In an interview with the Belfast Telegraph, Neeson promised that the sequel to the critically panned “Clash” will have “some kick-a** stuff and a very human story to it … it’s a whole revamping, you know.”
Production is scheduled to begin in the spring 2011.

Why are they making a sequel? The first one pretty much sucked. it wasn't quite as bad as a Saturday night Syfy movie but it was pretty bad.
They must be paying Neeson a huge salary to appear in the sequel. Given how badly received the first movie was I'm surprised he would attach his name to the franchise.
