They were neck and neck last week. This weekend, the new Disney animated movie, “Tangled” had just enough to get past “Harry Potter” for the top slot at the box-office.
The movie took in $21.5 million over the weekend, good enough to knock Potter out of first for the first time.
“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part One” took in $16.7 million, pushing it to just over $244 million in ticket sales since its release.
There was a tie for third with “Unstoppable” and “Burlesque” taking in $6.1 million. Fifth place went to “Love and Other Drugs.”
