Alan Ritchson, the man who brought AquaMan to life on “Smallville,” says that a big-screen take on the character is in the works. However, he doesn’t know if he’s up for or would be up for the role.
Talking to Comic Book Resources, Richtson says that Warner Brothers is developing an AquaMan movie. That would seem to be in line with the studio’s desire to develop big-screen version of the DC Universe heroes once “Harry Potter” has run its course.
“A movie… I think is very much a reality. In fact, I think there’s one in the works. Some people in LA are starting to get the ball rolling on that. I don’t know what my involvement would ever be in that, but, yeah, I think it would be cool to see that happen. But it’s just so expensive to do. It’s hard to say if it’s really going to happen,” he says.
However, nothing has been confirmed by Warner Brothers or DC at this point.
If we hear anything, we’ll let you know.

I still remember the pilot for the TV series back on CW that never took off.

A movie would be interesting, but probably not a must see.
