"Undercovers" Gets A Pink Slip

NBC has pulled the plug on “Undercovers.”

The J.J. Abrams produced series started out well in the ratings but has dropped off each week. That lead NBC to pull the plug.

And here’s the kicker.

The series is currently working on its 13th episode, which producers thought might be the series finale. And while they will try to wrap up some elements of the show’s mythology, when you get to see them is up in the air.

NBC plans to air three more episodes and then hold back the final several shows to air at some point in the future.

Sounds like fans wanting closure may have to wait for the DVD.

Can't they just burn them off first? Maybe the show will pick up again?

I liked what I saw of the show but Wednesday night is the worst time for any show for me.

I tried to get into it, but I just found the characters and the stories lacking. I am not surprised it's goin to be canceled.

    Damn! I like this show.

Sigh. I doubt we'll get to see sexy Gugu Mbatha-Raw in anything else sexing it up like she did in this show. She could be the hottest model on the planet but she's got good acting chops to boot.

Dang it. What is with networks lately, canceling series and then refusing to air episodes that are already filmed? It's not like they can afford to have backup series waiting to replace them with like they did five or six years ago. So we're going to get a bunch of repeats until the inevitable deluge of holiday specials.

Good. It was terrible. I hope to see more of Gugu and Mekia Cox... they have talent.
