Richtson Says Aquaman Movie In the Works

Alan Ritchson, the man who brought AquaMan to life on "Smallville," says that a big-screen take on the character is in the works. However, he doesn't know if he's up for or would be up for the role.

Talking to Comic Book Resources, Richtson says that Warner Brothers is developing an AquaMan movie. That would seem to be in line with the studio's desire to develop big-screen version of the DC Universe heroes once "Harry Potter" has run its course.

Quesada Won't Hype "Death of Spider-Man"

Marvel Comics' Joe Quesada says he won't hype the upcoming Ultimate line story, "The Death of Spider-Man." Instead the Marvel editor says he wants to let the story speak for itself.

"You've heard it here first - for the first time I'm not going to engage anyone in any hype or teasers designed to break the internet in half," Quesada told CBR. "But I will say this, when we all got together last month to discuss the Ultimate Universe, it was like being right back at the beginning ten years ago."

Williamson Developing "Diaries" Companion Series

Kevin Williamson is reportedly developing a companion series for "The Vampire Diaries."

The series is not a spin-off of the popular CW drama, but instead a new show that will be a supernatural-themed drama about a group of people who investigate paranormal happenings. Deadline reports it could be a cross of "The X-Files" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."
