"Flash" Script Expected by Christmas

While DC and Warner Brothers haven't made it official that we'll get a movie version of the Flash, all signs are looking good for one.

According to MTV, a final script is expected by Christmas for the film. At that point, the official green light could be given.

"Deathly Hallows" Won't Be in 3D

Call it a small victory for conventional films and those of us who don't care for 3-D.

Warner Brothers announced last week that the first half of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" won't be in 3-D. The film was in the process of being converted to 3-D, but the studio ran out of time to get it properly converted. That includes a 3-D IMAX version.

Disney Offers Free Look at "Tron: Legacy"

Want an early look at close to thirty minutes of footage from the upcoming "Tron: Legacy?"

Disney is offering fans the chance to view 23-minutes of the film in IMAX 3-D on October 28th. Screenings will take place across the United States and other parts of the world and the tickets are free.

"Social Network" Remains Number One

For the second week in a row, audiences liked "The Social Network." The David Fincher directed film was the top moneymaker at the box-office last weekend, taking in $15.4 million.

The movie held off several solid new films for the crown. In second was the romantic comedy "Life As We Knew It," taking in $14.5 million. In third was Disney's "Secretariat." The movie raced out to a $12.6 million opening weekend.

Bullock Considered for "Gravity"

Angelina Jolie's been linked to it as well as Natalie Portman. Now it appears that Oscar-winner Sandra Bullock is in the running for the lead role in "Gravity."

The film will be directed by "Children of Men" helmer Alfonso Cuaron and co-star Robert Downey, Jr. The movie follows an astronaut who struggles to survive a avalanche of space junk.
