If you’ve tuned in to Slice of SciFi the past couple of weeks, you’ll know that the new movie “Red” has earned the Sam Roberts seal of approval. Sam has encouraged everyone to go out and see the film.
And while the box-office numbers indicate that movie-goers are going out to see the film, peer-to-peer file sharing numbers show that it’s one of the most downloaded films on the Internet.
In fact, three of the top ten films currently listed as the most downloaded last week are still in theaters. The other two are “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” and “The Social Network.”
According to TorrentFreak, these are the top ten most downloaded films in the last week.
1. Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps
2. Resident Evil: Afterlife
3. Red
4. Jonah Hex
5. Get Him to the Greek
6. The Switch
7. Machete
8. Knight and Day
9. The Social Network
10. Piranha
