It was probably only a matter of time.
With news that the “Star Wars” series will be upgrade to 3-D, now comes news that that “Indiana Jones” franchise will get a 3-D makeover as well.
Blue Sky Disney reports that Lucasfilm will announce that they’re converting the Indiana Jones Saga to 3D. The films will be converted and released in a similar fashion as the “Star Wars” films with “Raiders of the Lost Ark” the first out of the gate.
And yes, this probably means you can see “Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” in 3-D if you really want to do that sort of thing.
No word yet on if the proposed Indy 5 might be made in 3D or converted to 3D.

Don't hide your kids and wife yet, gang.
Indy 3-D Debunked: http://www.bigshinyrobot.com/reviews/archives/18321
3-D gives me a headache(I'm color blind so this my be part of the issue) and my son hates the glasses. He wears glasses to see clearly and the 3-D glasses don't typically fit well over them! They can covert old and film new in 3-d all they want. My family won't be going to see any 3-D releases until these two HUGE issues are worked out. I know I'm not alone but this seems like as good a place to get on the soap box as any. Thanks for reading!
@Eddie -- I completely sympathize with your son on the double-glasses issue. They give me headaches, too, and the 3-D never quite looks right.
