Good news!
NBC has decided to continue the adventures of “Chuck” for eleven more episodes this year. That will bring the season order for the fourth season to 24 total episodes.
NBC was reportedly close to giving the show a full season earlier this week. The show has held on to its core audience and demographics in its timeslot this season with little or no promotion by NBC.
No word yet on how the producers will utilize the back nine. The current season arc sees Chuck trying to track down his mother. Whether or not this story will be extended or we’ll get a second arc like we got last year remains to be seen.
Chuck is getting 11 more eps (24 all up) not 22
Weird, I thought their initial order for the season was 9 episodes, meaning an 11 episode order would bring them up to 20. Oh well, I'm sure I'd prefer 24 episodes anyways
