A couple of interesting tid-bits from the alphabet network today.
The first is that ABC has set the return date for “V” and it’s later than we initially expected. The sophomore season will kick off on Tuesday, January 4 at 9 p.m. EST.
That’s a bit later than the proposed start-date of November floated when the show’s renewal was announced last spring.
In another interesting story, the network is reportedly developing a new series based on the Marvel comics character the Hulk. According to the Hollywood Reporter, ABC will hear pitches on the show from Guillermo del Toro and former “BSG” producer David Eicks. Both are reportedly in the running to be show runners, though ABC will not confirm or deny the report.
No word yet on if the series would tie into the current Marvel movie universe or not.
We’ll keep our eyes and ears open for more on this one.
