Oscar-nominated actress Emma Thompson will join Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones as an agend in the upcoming “Men in Black 3.”
Thompson will play Agent Oh, “take-charge MIB operative who is monitoring a prison breakout,” reports MTV. According to reports, the film will take place in two eras–the present day and 1969 when Jones’ agent was recruited for the mysterious organization. There’s no word yet on which era Thompson’s character will appear in.
Barry Sonnenfeld is directing the project, which reunites Smith’s Agent Jay with Tommy Lee Jones’ Agent Kay. Most of the action, however, takes place in the 1969 with Josh Brolin playing a young Jones.
Jemaine Clement is playing the villain in the script, which is being kept under wraps.
Interesting premise, but as someone I heard on the show say: "Your mileage may vary."
