If you have problems with oversleeping due to hitting the snooze, experts say you should move the alarm clock across the room, out of easy reach of the bed.
And while that’s sound advice, it isn’t nearly as cool as a new alarm clock designed to help you get up in the morning.
No, it doesn’t involve electroshock or a bucket of water poured on you.
What it does instead is project a ball across the room. And if you want to have the snooze function enabled, you have to find the ball and replace it before the clock will go back into snooze mode.
Beyond that, the Aphelion clock has pretty much the standard features of most other alarm clocks.

I'd just be afraid of the ball breaking something.
What would be really cool is if you set it up so that it shot the ball AT you to wake you up. You get extra points if you can catch and disable it in your sleep.
This might actually get my wife out of bed. Mostly because it would wake up the cat and the ensuing activity would be very noisy
