Director Tim Burton is casting a few old friends for the voice talent in the upcoming remake of “Frankenweenie.”
Based on his short film, Burton is recreating the film as a stop-motion animated feature.
And giving voice to the characters will be several former Burton stars including Wynona Ryder, Martin Landeau, Martin Short and Catherine O’Hara.
Interestingly, Burton hasn’t yet cast frequent headliner Johnny Deep in a role yet.
But don’t worry. Burton and Depp are currently working on the big-screen version of “Dark Shadows.”
