Yesterday we brought you news that January Jones would replace Alice Eve as Emma Frost in the upcoming “X-Men: First Class.”
But why did Eve leave, you wonder.
According to Comic Book Resource, Eve’s management team petitioned to have the actress let out of her contact due to script changes. An insider at Fox tells the web site that Eve was displeased with the changes made to the direction of her character and decided she wanted out of the project.
This isn’t the first time that Eve has been linked to a Marvel movie role. Eve was considered a front runner for the female lead in “Captain America.”
And it appears Marvel is still interested in having Eve play a cinematic version of one of their characters. Comic Book Resource says it’s possible she could be in the running to play Sue Storm in the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot.
