On this week’s episode of Slice of SciFi, we’ll bring you news about the ever escalating budget for the big-screen version of “Battleship.”

The film will be headlined by two television stars in Taylor Kistch (“Friday Night Lights”) and Alexander Skarsgard (“True Blood.”) Joining them is singer Rhianna in her acting debut and swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker.
Decker’s addition to the cast was first reported by the Latino Review. No details are known on Decker’s role though she has guest starred on “Chuck” and “Royal Pains.”
