Moore Confident for Season Two of "Caprica"

When SyFy released news that the second half of “Caprica”‘s first season was being pushed back to January of 2011, many of us were worried this was not a good sign for the freshman series.

SyFy has yet to sign off on a second season, but that isn’t bothered series creator Ron Moore. Moore told the ComicCon crowd that he is confident the show will get a second season.

“I firmly believe we’ll be back,” Moore said. The second half of the first season is really when the series “hits its stride.”

Even so, Moore shared that he had about half a dozen pivotal moments in the timeline leading up to the “Battlestar” miniseries that could act as potential endpoints for “Caprica.”

As for what we can expect when the series returns in January, actress Alessandra Toressani shared, “there are a lot new Zoes that you meet.”

“Caprica” returns in January on SyFy.
