The UK’s Guardian newspaper recently sat down and crunched some numbers. And what they’d come up?
A detailed analysis of every monster and villain the Doctor has faced since November 23 ,1963.

The chart only includes those encounters and villains the Doctor has faced in a televised story and doesn’t include spin-off novels or projects (so, stats from “Torchwood” or “The Sarah Jane Adventures” won’t count).
Leading the pack is, of course, the Doctor’s greatest adversary, the Daleks. And if there are some villains or monsters you don’t recognize, this is a great opportunity to start catching up on the classic series!
