Poor “Happy Town.”
It just can’t catch a break.
After being pulled from the ABC schedule before May sweeps started, it now appears to have been pulled from ABC’s summer schedule.
ABC will pull the final two episodes. That means if you’re tuning in Wednesday night for a new installment, you’ll see Jimmy Kimmel’s special on “Twilight: Eclipse” instead (as if that franchise needs more hype).
The final two episodes will be burned off in July on a Saturday night.

It really tried to be the new Twin Peaks, but failed miserably. Not that I liked Twin Peaks either, but I could see where it was TRYING to go. This is a big shrug for me, but I appreciate the effort.
I was kind of liking the show, but it was hard to follow since it kept getting yanked off the air. I hope we get to know who the Magic Man is. Otherwise, that would suck.
The magic man is the president of ABC, he likes to kill off as much programming as possible.
The first couple of episodes were intriguing, but I stopped watching it after they announced the cancellation. That almost always results in an unsatisfying ending, and I have better uses for my time than to head knowingly into frustration.
I agree with Sam... ABC is acting like a certain network did with Firefly--stupidly. And I really hope that when it does end, if it ever gets a chance to, that it will not end on a cliffhanger.
