Director Christopher Nolan says there will be no Joker reprisal for his next Batman project.
This news came from Nolan in his recent interview with the United Kingdom’s Empire magazine. When the mag asked Nolan to expand on his statement and to explain if actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt would take over as the Joker in some future Joker reprisal, Nolan would only say, “I just don’t feel comfortable talking about it.” The role of Joker for Nolan’s last Batman flick was perfectly performed by the late Heath Ledger.
Nolan’s next big project will be helming the next big Superman movie due out for Christmas 2012 with David Goyer (“Blade”) penning the highly anticipated script.
We’ll have more about the next Batman and other projects from Nolan on this week’s Slice of SciFi.
