On last week’s Slice of SciFi, we brought you news about the 3-D revolution extended to adult cinema.
Now comes news that a woman is saying that watching an adult movie in 3-D led to her pregnancy.
Jennifer Jhonson says that watching a 3-D adult film led her to be with child. Her husband, Erik, is a member of the U.S. military and returned home to find her expecting. He assumed she’d had an affair, but Jennifer says that isn’t the case.
It appears that Erik is buying the story.
“I see it as suspicious. The films in 3D are very real. With today’s technology, anything is possible,” he said.
The story gets a bit more interesting. The Jhonson’s are both white and the baby born is part African-American according to reports. But Jennifer says that’s because she watched a 3-D adult movie featuring a black actor. She also says she only went to watch the movie because her friends wanted to.
“Even though my husband believed in me, my marriage could be at risk,” Jennifer said. “But he knows I’m faithful.”
Jennifer explained that “a month after watching the movie, I started feeling dizzy and the results were positive.”

These two stupid people deserve each other. Unfortunately, SHE has avoided the winning a Darwin Award… But he may still have a chance…
Whacko says
@Lejon Darwin Awards go to people who get themselves killed because of their own stupidity.
But I agree, this is a match made in heaven I guess 😛
AndyMac says
This guy Erik is stupid beyond belief. And if she really believes she got pregnant from a porn film (and it’s not just a scam on her idiot husband) then she is even dumber than he is.

I work for a state Child Support Enforcement agency, and that has to be one of the top five most inventive explainations I’ve heard in 17 years. Sure beats, “Call the Pope, it happened again….”
Ken says
I cannot believe there are people able to walk upright, have some sort of income to support themselves, can move about in society without being killed, and really believe this, and would tell anyone (much less allow it to get to some news outlets).
Are there really people that ignorant out there?
There has to be something missing. Like she was so enthralled with the movie, that she didn’t realize the guy in front of her wasn’t part of the movie!
Or, she got so horny that she couldn’t control herself!
Something!

The stupid… It burns…
Dave in NY says
Does that mean that if Avatar 2 is underwater anyone who watches it will drown?
Good thing that The Abyss wasn’t in 3D or I may have drowned!
I guess they should shut down the Terminator 3D attraction because of all those people getting shot!
Maybe she just didn’t realize the Black guy in the room wasn’t from the movie! I guess he came and left so quickly that she thought he was in the movie!

Dizzyness? Um, maybe the lady should’ve had the doctors test for GHB. 😐
Lon says
This was a media satire piece that several local news organization got baited into running.
So the stupid is still there. It’s just with news people who believe the general public could be so stupid as to buy this.
Anon says
Whacko, I think the point Lejon was making was that she didn’t die before (presumably should all go well) passing on her genetic traits—including a woeful lack of intelligence.
Anon says
Personally, despite my absolute faith in human stupidity, even I don’t buy this one.

Well done guys!

This sounds like it came from The Onion News Network.
Should any of you ever get caught in a similar position you could try this.
“Baby who are you going to believe; me or your lying eyes?”
OK, just because it didn’t work for me doesn’t mean it can’t work for you.
MarcheHare says
Uh… Did any of you bother to look up the origin of the story? It came from a Portuguese website that produces SATIRE articles just like the onion.
ejdalise says
I’ll take the blame for this. The story came up in my Google News reader, and while I did go to the source, I did not notice any particular Onion-like smell to the place.
It’s a testament to my opinion of humankind that upon reading the story I found it believable some humans would be that gullible . . . it would not be the first time people believed in conception by other than physical means.

So……basically Sarah Palin sees a 3d movie. Got it. Sheesh

I want to see this on the Lifetime network soon. Still cracks me up.

I am expecting this to be redone in one of those talk shows where they use DNA to prove who is or is not the father. She should get the name of the actor in the movie and have him go through a DNA test.
