"Seeker" Fans Raise Close to $10,000 To Save Show

Fans of "Legend of the Seeker" love their show and aren't willing to give it up without a fight.

Last week, we brought you news that Save Our Seeker was working to raise funds for an ad in Variety. The group has blown past its initial fund-raising goal and is closing in on $10,000 raised for the campaign. Some of the funds were used to print the ad in Variety and now the group is considering placing an ad in the trade paper, the Hollywood Reporter.

Nintendo Sees Profits Drop For First Time in Six Years

Videogame giant Nintendo may be feeling the affects of the economic slowdown for the first time.

The game maker saw its first drop in profits in six years last year.

The maker of Super Mario and Pokemon games said Thursday that net profit for the fiscal year ended March 31 fell 18% to 228.6 billion yen ($2.5 billion).
