SciFi Wire Lists Six Shows "Ruined" By Their Finale

SciFi Wire has an interesting article today that lists six series genre shows they say were ruined by their finale (in this case, ruining the show to the point of making rewatching the entire series impossible).

Among the shows are the original UK "Life on Mars," "Quantum Leap," "The Prisoner" and "Star Trek: Voyager," "The X-Files" and the modern "Battlestar: Galactica."

"Iron Man 2" Beats "Robin Hood"

Movie audiences were more interested in seeing more of Tony Stark than they were Robin Hood this past weekend, at least in the United States.

Domestically, "Iron Man 2" took in $16 million more than "Robin Hood" to claim the box-office crown this week.

What Can We Watch on Fox Next Year?

As Fox prepares to say farewell to Simon Cowell and Jack Bauer, Fox executives presented their new 2010-11 schedule today.

The good news is that "Fringe" will stay where it is, Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST. The show has built a solid audience since moving to the time slot this year. The bad news is "Human Target" is moving to Fridays at 8 p.m. EST.

ABC Renews "V," Cancels "FlashForward"

Maybe they should have seen this one coming....

ABC has canceled "FlashForward" according to EW's Michael Ausiello. The sci-fi series, based on the novel by Robert J. Saywer, initially had solid ratings, only to see them decline over time. The series took a long hiatus and never won back its audience figures, leading to its cancellation.
