Actress Megan Fox will not participate in the upcoming production of “Transformers 3″ reports USA Today.
There are conflicting reports on why the actress has separated from the production.
One report in USA Today indicates that the actress was dropped from the third installment in the franchise.
Paramount Pictures said Wednesday that Fox’s option was not picked up for part three in the blockbuster Michael Bay series. The studio, which released the first two movies about shape-shifting machines doing battle, declined to give further details or say who would replace the 24-year-old actress.
Fox, notorious for making attention-grabbing comments to the media, engaged in a public spat with director Bay around the release of part two last summer. But Bay later defended her and said he looked forward to working with her on part three.
Fox has responded saying that she chose to step away from the popular franchise at this time.
Either way, it means no Megan Fox in the upcoming movie.
I'm glad. Not like she was in it for her acting skills. She was the hot chick. Of which there are plenty in the world to take her spot. She was getting annoying anyway.
Considering that she wasn't hired for her acting skills, she's easily replaceable. As it is, people really go to see that movie for the RORP, she was just the cherry on top - so to speak.
Geem too bad, oh wait you can't hear the sarcasm, who cares if she leaves, she isn't a good actress and totally wrong for the role. Freaking Skank.
She was good eye candy. Hopefully they will find someone who has both the beauty and the acting chops to fill in.
Those movies did not require "acting chops" . . . perhaps that's a change we can look forward to.
