If you like genre shows on Friday night, this fall your viewing home may change from SyFy (who will begin airing wrestling starting in October) to the CW.
The network has announced that it will move Thursday night hit “Supernatural” to Friday evenings, pairing it with it again with the final season of “Smallville.”
The move is to make way for the new series “Nikita” which is a reboot of the popular series “La Femme Nikita.” The new show will air on Thursdays at 8 p.m EST.
Here’s the full schedule for next fall:
Monday: 8, Gossip Girl; 9, 90210
Tuesday: 8, One Tree Hill; 9, Life Unexpected
Wednesday: 8, America’s Next Top Model; 9, Hellcats
Thursday: 8, The Vampire Diaries; 9, Nikita
Friday: 8, Smallville; 9, Supernatural

Well, with Numb3rs gone, won't be a 9pm Friday night conflict, so I'm okay with that. And for some strange reason, I'm even looking forward to their summer reruns of "Moonlight".
"Well, with "Numb3rs" gone, won’t be a 9pm Friday night conflict."
That's 9pm Eastern. "Numb3rs" was on at 10pm Eastern. Even if it were still around, there still wouldn't be a conflict.
I'm just glad that "Supernatural" won't be on at the same time as "Fringe" anymore. I like both shows almost equally.
Numb3rs always came on at 9pm for us folks out west (Mtn/Pac time). The 10pm Eastern shows come on at 9pm Pacific... since I've been out here so long, I keep forgetting that
Darn it. The two new shows that actually look interesting to me -- Hellcats, because of Ben Browder, and Nikita -- are up against Criminal Minds and Fringe. Thank goodness for DVR and Hulu.
