Olyphant Replaces Copley in "Four"

Actor Sharlto Copley has decided to drop out of the upcoming production “I Am Number Four” according to Variety. The actor, who starred in “District 9″ was worried about becoming typecast in alien-centered movies reports the trade paper and didn’t want to have to wear the alien make-up.

He will be replaced by actor Timothy Olyphant, currently starring in FX’s “Justified.”

The movie stars Alex Pettyfer as “Number Four”, one of nine aliens who come to Earth after their planet is destroyed by a rival alien species. They blend in with the human population, but soon find themselves hunted by the enemy who destroyed their planet. Olyphant will play Number Four’s guardian. Teresa Palmer and Kevin Durand also star. Alfred Gough, Miles Millar and Marti Noxon wrote the screenplay. D.J. Caruso will direct.
