The upcoming sci-fi movie, “I Am the Number Four” has added several cast members according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Based on a upcoming young-adult science fiction book by James Frey and Jobie Hughes, actors Teresa Palmer, Alex Pettyfer and Sharlto Copley have joined the cast.
Pettyfer is the lead character Four and Copley will play Four’s guardian and mentor.
Palmer will play Number Six, one of nine aliens who escape their home planet before its annihilation by a rival species and hide out on Earth disguised as human high school kids.
Michael Bay is producing with Steven Spielberg. Chris Bender and J.C. Spink are executive producing with David Valdes. Al Gough and Miles Millar wrote the screenplay.
The project will be directed by D.J. Caruso.
