While the preliminary estimates showed that “How to Train Your Dragon” beat out “Kick Ass” for the top spot at the box-office last weekend, the final tallies tell a different story.
When released, the final numbers show that “Kick Ass” was number one overall last weekend.
The Hollywood Reporter says that “Kick-Ass” took in $19.8 million in its opening weekend, edging out “Dragon” at $19.6 million in its fourth weekend of release.
