3-D once again topped the box-office last weekend with the animated “How To Train Your Dragon” rising back to the top spot over the newly opened and highly anticipated “Kick Ass.”
“Dragon” took in $20.0 million over the weekend. “Kick Ass” was second with $19.8 million.
The total was below what Hollywood experts predicted for the film. It may also be another blow to R-rated comic book films. Two high profile projects with R-ratings have stumbled at the box-office in the last year.
Third place went to “Date Night” with $17.3 million.
Chris Rock’s $20 million “Death at a Funeral” did a solid $17 million, while “Clash of the Titans” did $15.8 million.

Can't speak to Kick Ass. But How to Train your Dragon was amazing. I think it deserves the comeback.
Both were pretty awesome in their own way. My daughter enjoyed "Dragon", my ineer geek enjoyed "K-A".
