Is "Percy Jackson" Star the New Spider-Man?

Has Sony found its new Peter Parker aka Spider-Man.

According to Hit Fix, the studio has found the man they want to play the web-slinger in the upcoming reboot. The site reports that actor Logan Lerman, who starred as the title character in “Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief” is “100% certain” to accept the role.

HitFix has exclusively learned that Logan Lerman is first choice for Sony Pictures and the clear frontrunner to replace Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker in the reboot of the blockbuster franchise. A source close to the production tells HitFix Lerman is “almost 100% locked” but not in contract negotiations for the role yet.

Neither Sony nor Lerman have confirmed or denied the report.
