Robert Downey, Jr. drops out, Harrison Ford jumps on board.
Seems like it might be a good trade-off for director Jon Favreau.
Favreau confirmed via Twitter that Ford is joining the cast of the upcoming project, “Cowboys & Aliens.”
“Please stop asking if Harrison Ford is in Cowboys & Aliens. Okay? He is. Please don’t tell anybody,” tweeted the director.
Ford joins a cast that includes the current James Bond, Daniel Craig and “Tron: Legacy” actress Olivia Wilde.
Production on the movie begins later this year.
Indiana Jones and James Bond in a movie together? Historically, this is a good pairing.
This is one of the few times that concept is much cooler than the cast. I'm down.
