Could this be the beginning of the end for “Flash Forward?”
Ratings have not been good for the return of the series on ABC (not helped by going up against CBS’s coverage of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament) and now one of the actresses has been cast in a pilot for NBC.
Christine Woods, who plays Janice on the show, has been tapped for the lead in the comedy pilot “Perfect Couples.”
If the comedy should get picked, the Hollywood Reporter indicates that Woods would be able to work on both shows. That alone may give us some indication of where the plotline with Janice is headed in the coming weeks.
So the news isn’t necessarily dire for “Flash Forward” but it’s not exactly an encouraging sign either.
NBC has ordered A LOT of pilots for next season so hopefully this won't get a series order.
