I searched for Firefly DVD sold, but did not find numbers. As far as curiosity . . . I take recommendation by fans to be subject to confirmation bias. That is, after having spent a substantial portion of one's life on a given show, it's not likely people are all that objective about it. Not saying Lost is not a great show for some, but I was never all that impressed with it, so my curiosity will remain dormant . . . mainly because I don't want it to kill my cat. Better than Firefly?
