The BBC has released a new 30-second teaser trailer for the upcoming season (fifth of the new series, 31st overall) of “Doctor Who.”

So why does that Dalek have a british flag on its dome?
I'm guessing that because the previous scene shows what looks like the blitz period and the dalek is painted khaki it is defending Britain in some sort of alternate WWII universe.
Here was me thinking it was a bow tie on the dome. It is the Dalek's form of camouflage when trying to fit into the time period.
Based on what I've heard about the episode featuring the Daleks, the British flag fits right in....:)
Wow. I was kind of looking forward to Doctor Who Series 5. But, this trailer looks awful. The Doctor and his companion look like Harry Potter rejects. While its nice to see some of the returning villains, like the "Weeping Angels", how many times can we get excited about the Cybermen?
