Good news, everyone!
New episodes of “Futurama” will debut on Comedy Central in June.
HitFix confirmed that the animated series will return on June 24th with its first new installment since Fox pulled the plug on the series. New episodes will air at 10 p.m EST.
The series, which ran for five seasons on Fox, was canceled by the network but enjoyed tremendous success in repeats and DVD sales. The series returned in four direct-to-DVD movies that encouraged Comedy Central to pick up a new season for the show.
The entire voice cast returns for the new season as does most of the creative minds behind the initial run.
