He’s been Doogie Howser, he’s been Dr. Horrible. Now actor Neil Patrick Harris will be suiting up to play the lead in the upcoming “Smurfs” movie.
Harris will play the lead role in the film which will blend live action and CGI created Smurfs. Harris will shoot his part in April while on a break from his sitcom “How I Met Your Mother.
No word yet on who Harris will play in the movie. Some fans hope that the actor might play Gargamel, the Smurf’s nemesis.
“The Smurfs” will be directed by Raja Gosnell who gave us the first “Scooby Doo” live action movie.
By lead role, do you mean Gargamel the villain or will he play one of the Smurfs??? Papa Smurf? Brainy Smurf? SMURFETTE?
