I agree that I hate these mini seasons and splitting it up for so long. As to WHS 13 it is entertaining but if I miss it I do not care. It is too formulaic and it reminds me too much of Friday the 13th THE TV series with the evil object of the week. I will keep watching in hopes that it gets better. As to Eureka, I love it but I am almost at the point of waiting for the series to end, buy the DVD's and watch them back to back. This is because I really start loving it and then it goes away again for aalmost a year!!! This is a lousy way to run a business.

Only a 13 episode order, that's pretty lame for "the most successful series in Syfy’s 17-year history."

Me? I like this show...a LOT. I tape (yes, I roll old school stylee) or...um...*acquire*...shows I really really like and I re-watch them over the hiatus. I also am old school enough to still believe that a show doesn't really hit their stride until season 3. As good as the first (and only) season of "Firefly" was, I just know that by the end of season 2 it would have been crazily wonderful. And it would have also had 1 or 2 episodes that made some people think that it had gone off the rails or somehow 'lost itself'. I'm beyond happy that Warehouse 13 AND Eureka will be back because even if I wasn't crazy about them, I'm the type of person that would rather have sketchy, dodgy sci-fi/fantasy than none at all. And that's a whole 'nother discussion I don't have time for right now. Peace out.

Uh-oh . . . dissension on the boards. I started out liking Leverage, but felt it lost its way half way by the end of the first season. I gave it a shot when it came back, but found my attention drifting, and I eventually gave it up.

Great potential, and I like all the actors in it, but I think it's being squandered with bad writing and bad story plots. Still, glad others like it . . . maybe it will find its way again, and I can start watching it anew.

My mom is ridiculously passionate about this show. She keeps on watching all the episodes over and over and over again, like it's the best show ever or something. Me, I don't think it's the best show ever. It's good, but not THAT good. But to tell you the truth, the show I find MYSELF watching over and over is "Leverage". That show is gold.

These long breaks between airing of new episodes do a lot to wane my interest. Eureka is already a distant memory, and "Where"house 13 is fast heading there. The problem is people (or maybe it's just me) don't sit around waiting . . . they fill the void with other stuff, and shows on long hiatus have to compete for a ever diminishing slice of viewing time when they return. July 13th? That's the middle of summer . . . I think I will have better things to do.
