Fillion: Could Be More Than Just a "Dr Horrible" Sequel on the Horizon

If you loved “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog” (and how could you not?!?), then our next story will bring a smile to your face.

Actor Nathan Fillion, the man who brought Captain Hammer to life, says that from what he hears that a sequel to the popular webseries may only just be the beginning. Fillion says that he’s heard rumblings there could be more to the “Dr. Horrible” universe coming.

“I’ve heard some of the lyrics for one of the new songs,” Fillion told MTV News. “I’ve heard a title for the sequel, and I’ve heard some great ideas. I’ve also heard of some kind of other accoutrements that are coming out aside from a sequel that we’re planning on.”

“So… exciting things. ‘Dr. Horrible’ [is] far from dead,” he added.

Beyond that, Fillion says he can’t offer any more details about what we can expect and when.

According to Fillion, breaking silence on “Dr. Horrible” would ensure an untimely end via “a lightning bolt from god.”
