Rosenbaum Promises More OMG Moments on "V"

Producer Scott Rosenbaum says that if you've been waiting for "V" to pick things up and start delivering, then the spring run of eight episodes should be right up your alley.

"Rather than do the slow burn and just divvy out answers slowly, one at a time, you'll see in this new version of the show," Rosenbaum said, adding: "I mean, in every episode there will two or three or four 'Oh, my God!' ABC Asking $900,000 For A 30 Second Ad During "Lost" Finale

While the ratings for "Lost" may not be as high as they were at the peak of interest in season two, that's not stopping ABC from asking for a hefty price for those who want to advertise during the series finale in May.

Advertisement Age reports that the alphabet network is asking for $300,000 per 30-second spot during the 2-hour May 23 finale. That's quite a bit higher than they charge for a spot in the show now, where a 30-second spot commands a price tag of roughly $213,000, according to the trade publication.

Vaughn Defends "Kick Ass"

On this week's episode of Slice of SciFi, we brought you a story about screenwriter Jane Goldman and her work adapting "Kick Ass" for the big-screen.

As we told you on the show, part of the movie is the bloodthirsty 11-year-old girl, Hit-Girl, who drops dropping F-and C-bombs while slashing bad guys to death to the soundtrack from "The Banana Splits."

And while director Matthew Vaughn says that he can see why that might raise the eyebrows of some, he says that people shouldn't criticize without seeing the movie first.

The economy may be showing signs of rebounding.
