While he won’t square off against Green Lantern until the possible sequel, Sinestro will be part of the upcoming “Green Lantern” movie.
Over the weekend, director Geoff Johns confirmed the rumor that actor Mark Strong will take play the villain on the big-screen.
“Back from an amazing trip to Green Lantern town a.k.a. New Orleans!! Ryan IS Hal. And Mark Strong is going to be a brilliant Sinestro,” Johns said via Twitter.
Strong can currently be seen as the adversary for Sherlock Holmes in “Sherlock Holmes.”
