The long wait for “StarCraft II” may be just about over.
Blizzard announced that beta testing for the game will begin later this month. The news was revealed during the company’s fourth quarter results conference call.
The beta testing will be done on a world-wide basis, according to the company. The full game is expected to be released sometime this year.
During the conference call, they also stated that 2010 will be “the biggest in Blizzard’s history.” It’s the first time in 12 years that they plan to release two major games in a year.
There’s also a new expansion for “World of Warcraft” on the horizon.

Dear God or Gods that may or may not exist,
Please let me win the PowerBall this week so I can quit my job and have the time to be a StarCraft II beta tester. Oh please oh please oh please.
Love,
Arkle.
Oh my lovely underpowered laptop, I'm afraid your time is coming to an end.
