“Virtuality” “Battlestar” Coming to DVD, Blu Ray

February 1, 2010 by Michael Hickerson   || Category: On DVD

If you missed the back door pilot for “Virtuality” last summer, we’ve got good news for you. The Ron Moore project will get a DVD release later this year.

According to SciFi Squad, the DVD will hit stores on May 4.  However, it dosn’t appear that a Blu Ray release is in the works yet.

No word yet on if there will be any extras on the release (possibly a Ron Moore commentary?)

Meanwhile, fans who picked up “Battlestar Galactica: The Complete Series” on Blu-Ray may want to try and sell those on E-Bay as quickly as possible.  A new “Complete Series” set will drop later this year and this one will include the latest movie project “The Plan.”

And yet, this so-called “complete” version STILL doesn’t come with the last series of webisodes. So there may well be a third “complete” set coming out.
