NASA Lowers Space Shuttle Price

NASA is slashing the asking price for its space shuttles when the fleet is retired later this year, according to the Associated Press.

The space agency was originally asking $42 million per shuttle but has now lowered the price to a mere $28.8 million. The vehicles will go on sale after they finish constructing the International Space Station, scheduled to be later this year.

"Chuck" Ratings Slip Slightly on Monday

The ratings for "Chuck" slipped a bit Monday for the fourth installment of the third season. However, the news is still good and given NBC's current woes, it still looks good for a fourth season.

"Chuck" was off a tenth of a point from last week, down to 6.5 million viewers for the 8 p.m. EST hour. That was good enough for third place overall, behind CBS's "How I Met Your Mother" and "Accidentally on Purpose" and ABC's "The Bachelor."

"Avatar" Wins Again

Despite a strong Friday showing from "The Book of Eli," the latest James Cameron picture took in $41.3 million for the top spot at the box-office. The total pushes "Avatar" to third place on the all-time box-office grosses list, past "Star Wars." Next in line is "The Dark Knight."

Worldwide, "Avatar" lifted its total to $1.6 billion, second only to Cameron's last movie, 1997's "Titanic", at $1.8 billion.
